Rectangular sound attenuators for reducing fan noise and regeneration noise within air conditioning systems. Available types for installation inside air-duct systems and inside EU-BOX units.

The splitter frame is made of galvanized or stainless steel, internally has 3 sound absorbing materials of different densities (30 kg/m³, 80 kg/m³ and 100 kg/m³) and the surface in contact with the passing air is coated with a layer of glass-fiber fabric (type RA), to protect it from friction for air speeds of up to 20 m/s. Alternatively, the glass-fiber fabric may be covered on half (type RAS) or all (type RAX) of its surface with metal sheet and/or perforated metal sheet made of galvanized steel. The available thicknesses of the sound-absorbing element are 100, 200 and 300 mm. The size of the sound attenuator (type and number of splitters) will be selected in accordance with the required sound attenuation and air velocity within the attenuator, specified by the installation.

Special design with aerodynamic shape at the air inlet and outlet (radius > 15 mm) for smooth flow, energy saving and up to 30% lower differential pressure. The frame edges are folded to protect the splitter. Interference loss and regeneration noise level are measured according to EN ISO 7235:2009 and EN ISO 5136:2009.
